Economic Differences essays We Americans have come to understand our kind of economy called capitalism which means that its a free market system in which peoples businesses own most of the resources. They seek a profit out of their investments and there hard work. But one thing we must understand is that no country is made the same, this means that different countries have different types of economies in which they operate. In this paper you will read about the different types of economies and how they affect and manifest around the world. This will talk about capitalism, socialism and communism. As you read you will understand the differences between them and how they affect the people following these types of economics. Capitalism is an economic system in which private individuals and businesses sell there productions and also exchange their good and their services through a complex system of prices and markets. Capitalism started along time ago from its European origin. From Europe to England capitalism spread through the world. After World War I capitalism evolved into a modern competing system of economy. A simpler way to describe this type of economy is that the government has only so much say on how business should be run by the people that own it and the people that work their. The government is like a referee in a football game he makes sure that the food and the merchandise they sell is safe for the people. It also makes sure that the environment is keep as safe as possible from pollution and that the people that work in America are pay and that they are treated good.
